Revenge and reincarnation are the leitmotifs of this entertaining movie.

With Karan Arjun, director Rakesh Roshan has put together a slick package of top stars, wrenching family drama, fast paced action and fine songs.

A Sholay-like movie, Karan Arjun is the story of Durga (Rakhee) and her two sons Karan (Salman Khan) and Arjun (Shahrukh Khan) who are killed by the cruel landlord Thakur Durjan Singh. Durga remains steadfast in her faith that her dead sons would return to avenge the grave injustice done to their family.

And return the sons do 20 years later in new incarnations as Ajay (Salman Khan) and Vijay (Shahrukh Khan) and take revenge on Durjan Singh and his evil family.
