In this Neo Liberal world, i can understand frustrations that Elliot has gone through.
He expected some Human Values and when he was denied it, he went mad. Never support the system or Society (especially USA, China and India).

I don’t know Isla vista (Santa Barbara) where the incident happened but I do know Los Angeles, which is just 100-miles south. You can get all the pussy and girlfriends in L.A. at all hours of the day and night if you have a BMW and money (and Elliot had both)!
