Don’t be surprised if you see Akshay Kumar crying into his Lassi.
Akshay’s Once Upon a Time in Mumbai Dobaara is struggling to get off the ground while rival Shah Rukh Khan’s Chennai Express is soaring into the stratosphere.
In its second weekend SRK’s Chennai Express grossed over three times what Akshay Kumar’s Once Upon a Time in Mumbai Dobaara did in its opening weekend at the U.S. box office.
So you get the picture.
Akshay Kumar – Serial Trash Peddler
Once Upon a Time in Mumbai Dobaara has fared miserably in its opening weekend in the U.S.
For the opening August 15-18, four-day weekend, Once Upon a Time in Mumbai Dobaara could manage a mere $273,033 (such low numbers are usually Abhishek Bachchan’s territory).
Given that Akshay Kumar is a serial trash peddler, it’s only fitting that desis in the U.S. have shown the middle finger to Once Upon a Time in Mumbai Dobaara.
