Classless Indian moviegoers in the U.S. swarmed theatres screening Chennai Express and gave a warm reception to the pile of dung.

Since Shah Rukh Khan is a Muslim, who has made no secret of his immense love for India’s eternal tormentor Pakistan, you can be sure Pakistanis and Bangladeshis in the U.S. thronged the film in great numbers.

What better way for Pakis to celebrate Eid than watching a trashy Bollywood film featuring their champion Shah Rukh Khan.

Estimates provided by BoxOfficeMojo show that Shah Rukh Khan and distributor UTV have a winner on their hands with Chennai Express.

The movie collected $2.475 million at the box office in its four-day opening weekend.

Chennai Express released on 144 screens on Thursday and 196 screens from Friday-Sunday in the U.S.
