Nerusu Lakshminivasa Rao has been tossed into Oakland County jail in Michigan following the Telugu native’s extradition to the U.S. from India.

Nerusu hails from the South Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.

Triple Murder Charges

Nerusu is charged with the murders of his wife Jayalakshmi Nerusu and the couple’s two children.

Nerusu is being held in the Oakland County Jail in Michigan without bond suggesting there’s no chance he will get bail.

After the murders of his family members, Nerusu escaped to India.

The Telugu bidda was arrested in Hyderabad in February this year after a manhunt that stretched for over four years.

If convicted, Nerusu will spend the rest of his life in prison without the possibility of parole.
