When our Indian chutiyas start doing LSD, Crack Cocaine, Heroin etc we’ll produce innovative products.
Until then, all ye dolts must be be content with the Aakash, Simputer and other assorted junk.
I came of age at a magical time,… Our consciousness was raised by Zen, and also by LSD…. Taking LSD was a profound experience, one of the most important things in my life. LSD shows you that there’s another side to the coin, and you can’t remember it when it wears off, but you know it. It reinforced my sense of what was important—creating great things instead of making money, putting things back into the stream of history and of human consciousness as much as I could.

Yes, by design.
but why? It is the only way to see if someone has replied to your comments (atleast within the last 10-15 comments). Is there a way to see past comments? Can you please consider add a “Next” and “Previous” buttons to the “Recent Comments” section to find older comments?

SI Says: “When our Indian chutiyas start doing LSD, Crack Cocaine, Heroin etc we’ll produce innovative products.”
Indians don’t have to invent any products. Indians typically consider themselves wiser than people from other cultures and rightfully so! The basic needs of life is to eat, excrete and procreate. Everything else as they say is “Maya”
Indian food is arguably one of the tastiest in the world with so much variety that all the cuisines of the world put together may not match.
Excretion has never a problem for Indians. One has full freedom to do that act anywhere attracting least attention.
…and the outwardly conservative people from the highly fertile land of Kamasutra procreate prolifically which is evident in the population.
Only the restless souls meander aimlessly and go about inventing stuff and try to change the world. The infinitely wise Indian kind are content with life. They know that change is constant so there is no point in doing it. Ellam Bagawan Seyal (Everything is God’s Creation) 😀

We haven’t tried LSD or Crack Cocaine but having tried other ‘enhancing, uplifting’ stuff, we can vouch for a stimulating experience.
We even believed we could fly or levitate in Maharishi Mahesh Yogi speak. 😉

Ahemm!!! Apparently, Steve Jobs was lucky enough to either get a lesser dose of LSD or had enough self-control not to kill himself. LSD takes you into such a state where you can’t find the difference between Reality and Dreams.
Hopefully, you read articles like this before appreciating Steve Jobs:

LSD does not produce the same effects on everyone. But people, whose mind is not focused or wavering may find losing their health or life if they consume LSD without supervision. The next time, you want to go to cloud 9, try other safe ways like boozing with your friends, going on crack (with limited doses of course). Stay away from LSD………….

Please note these sentences in the article:
However, LSD is a powerful mental amplifier. If you are feeling depressed, anxious, sick at the world, at the quality of modern television, at rampant consumerism, at life in general, do not take LSD.
LSD’s effects and your reaction to them are strongly determined by set and setting. Set is your mindset when taking the drug; setting is where you are.
If you wonder why the hell am posting all these. It is because SOME APPLE FANBOYS go to any extent to ape their role model, STeve Jobs. If they ever happen to see this and try LSD, they may end up with disastrous results. Not everyone is Steve Jobs, and not everyone is lucky enough to STAY UNHARMED, leave alone coming up with innovative ideas, after dropping acid.
Great man do impossible things. If normal humans try to ape great man, they will meet with disastrous results.

slightly off topic: Did you guys get a chance to read about the smart phones market share looks like the android powered phones have started talking
SearchIndia.com Responds:
Yes, Android is gaining share and Apple slipped behind Samsung in the third quarter.
Now, don’t forget that Android phones include multiple vendors while the iOS platform comprises of just one vendor – Apple.
Our feeling is that a lot of people delayed purchase of new iPhones because everyone knew the launch of the upgrade was imminent.
So, the current fourth quarter numbers would provide for more meaningful comparisons between the smartphone vendors.
Also, Apple continues to retain its cachet and its fan-base, even among Indians. Just yesterday, we accompanied a visiting Indian friend to an Apple store in the U.S. where he picked up an unlocked iPhone 4 (32GB) for $649.
Bottom line, Android’s greater market share is not going to kill the iPhone any time soon.
Sorry to be offtopic, but what’s your take on this article:

SearchIndia.com Responds:
The recession has taken a toll on many American cities and towns. Some like Detroit were in bad shape even before the economic downturn. But things have gotten worse over the last 4 or 5 years. The tax base of cities/towns is getting smaller and many towns and cities have been firing employees.
Worse, many of these cities and towns have unfunded pension obligations running into the billions.
We doubt America can pull through this economic depression.
