Oh, what a nonpareil swagger!

In all these decades that we’ve been watching Hindi films, there’s never been another like Shammi Kapoor.

Be it Prince, An Evening in Paris or Junglee, the charming swagger with Shammi Kapoor marches toward the girl is a sight for the ages.

    What a fine way to end the day!

    He is one of the most unique actors of Hindi Cinema. Great songs in almost all his movies. Recently saw Kashmir ki Kali and Teesri Manzil… fine movies and still eminently watchable.

    We’ve lost track of the number of times we’ve seen An Evening in Paris and Badan Pe Sitare.

    Despite the Tamilish-tinge around SI now, we actually grew up mostly watching Hindi films.

      Same here… It was not until mid 90s when I started watching more Tamil movies. Until then it was almost completely Hindi.

    Last night, we listened to Deewane Ka, Naam Tho Poocho (An Evening in Paris) several times. And as we were listening to that fine song, we had a premonition that his life was drawing to an end.
