At the announcement of the iPad 2.0 today, Apple proudly disclosed that it’d recently shipped its 100 millionth iPhone.

That’s a pretty decent astonishing number for a company that entered the mobile phone business only in July 2007.

We’ve been using the iPhone for nearly three years and but for the stray hiccup we’re mostly satisfied.

With over a quarter-million applications covering almost every conceivable category (Sports, Bollywood, Tamil Radio, Cricket, Games, Weather and more), the iPhone is our constant companion.

Hell, we even watch Live Indian TV on our iPhone 4. Can you beat that?
