Natalie Portman is Best Actress @ 83rd Oscars

Disappointed.

Mighty disappointed.

Jennifer Lawrence did not win the Best Actress Oscar. 🙁

Instead that honor went to Natalie Portman for her work in Black Swan.

Last year’s Best Actor Oscar winner Jeff Bridges handed Natalie the award.

The other nominees vying for the honor:

* Annette Bening in “The Kids Are All Right”
* Nicole Kidman in “Rabbit Hole”
* Jennifer Lawrence in “Winter’s Bone”
* Michelle Williams in “Blue Valentine”

    I’m assuming that you haven’t seen the movie (which you should!) Out of all the nominees, I felt Natalie’s role was the most outstanding. You should definately check it out. Darren Aronofsky of ‘The Wrestler’ directed it.

    Not watching Black Swan when it released was a big mistake.

    Maybe, we were upset when we heard a few months back that she was pregnant. 😉

    How on earth have you not watched Black Swan yet?

    Its freakishly and disturbingly good. Natalie Portman was awesome. And so was the other girl – Mila Kunis (who looks really similar to Aishwarya Rai)
