It’s around 8:30PM here on the East Coast on a Friday evening.
Hell, we’re already half-way through our first glass of White Russian and listening to Usher’s new song OMG from the album Raymond v. Raymond.
So what if the critics don’t like it.
Who gives a f*ck.
We like the song mucho. We do.
Swoon-worthy fare, folks.
You bet!
We bought the song ($1.29) on iTunes a few days back.
And we liked it so much that a few moments ago we purchased the music video ($1.99) as well.
Was this our first music video purchase? We can’t say for sure since we’re, ahem, floating a bit but most likely it is.
Here’s an excerpt for all ye schumcks:
oh myyyy
oh myy gosh
i did it again, so i’m gone let the beat drop
oh myy gosh[usher]:
baby let me..
baby let me..
baby let me..[chorus]:
baby let me love you downnn
there’s so many ways to love ya
baby i can break you downnn
there’s so many ways to love ya
i mean like, ooh myy gosh i’m soo in love
i found you finallyy, it make me want to say
oh, oh , oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh,
ohh myy gosh
We’ve already watched the OMG music video twice.
Sexy.
A nice combination of fine music, attractive dancing and seductive lighting.
Starts off in dark hues, then into bright light with Usher in a white sports-coat and a pink-red kerchief in his pocket and finally ends in semi-dark hues.
Beauuuutiful.
BTW, doesn’t Usher look handsome in shades?
The girls look cute too.
And Usher – best of all.
oh myyyy
oh myy gosh
i did it again, so i’m gone let the beat drop
oh myy gosh
whenever u say that you purchased music, why do you always mention the price? like in this one u said $1.29. is that really necessary?
P.S: i love ur blog. u’ll probably know from ur analytics the number of hits from my ip. so please don’t come charging at me n tell to mind my business 😉
P.P.S: do u have any plans in future to make podcasts? while ur blog is interesting to read, i would love to hear ur blog while i drive, while i am at gym, while i shop etc 🙂 jus a thought…

1. You Write Above: whenever u say that you purchased music, why do you always mention the price? like in this one u said $1.29. is that really necessary?
Just to tell desis here that music tracks and videos are so cheap and there’s no need to steal all the time. 😉
A lot of desis we meet here tell us they watched it online when we ask them about a movie!
2. You write: do u have any plans in future to make podcasts? would love to hear ur blog….while i am at gym
Yes, of course.
Ash is busy dubbing for Mani Ratnam’s Raavan. When she returns, you’ll get your podcast. 😉
Listening to SI while pumping, maybe. 😉 But listening to SI while pumping iron?
i agree.
You cannot understand desis spending logic. they spend ~25 a month in a lousy indian restaurant but cannot spend $9 a month for netflix. they think watching online or downloading in torrents is cool.
hey i was pretty serious about podcasts. issues like illegal immigration, unemployment etc can be best analyzed in-depth in a podcast. check this site – http://englishtamil.blogspot.com/ it has good collection of podcasts on social issues.
man, we wanna hear ur voice too 🙂
off topic, did u get a chance to watch stoning of soraya and turtles can fly?
SearchIndia.com Responds:
1. You write: man, we wanna hear ur voice too
You can listen to our mellifluous voice here or alternatively here. 😉
2. Will watch Stoning of Soraya and Turtles soon. Maybe, one of them tomorrow.
3. We occasionally listen to podcasts via iTunes but wary of downloading podcasts from other sites because of viruses and malware.
4. Maybe, we’ll stop this Bollywood/Kollywood nonsense and focus on less frivolous topics.
Are you trying to play mind games with the SI readers… awful song..
SearchIndia.com Responds:
You write: awful song..
Hey, we’re not talking of the Kallu Mama-ish Varriya from Pudhupettai but Usher’s OMG. 😉
BTW, OMG debuted at #14 on Billboard.
Listening to OMG in background.
Off–topic:Hurray! 😛

A short while ago, we were driving home from the bank.
What do you think we saw!
All along both sides of the road, there were gathered young boys, girls and men and women of diverse ages playing Kabbadi.
Such is the appeal of this great sport. Second only to pocket billiards.
Seriously, does anybody give a flying f*ck for Kabbadi?
