At the 82nd Oscars tonight, Mo’Nique won the Best Supporting Actress award for her performance in Precious: Based on the Novel Push by Sapphire.
We watched the trailer of Precious several times but never got around to watching the movie itself.
Here were the other contenders:
Vera Farmiga for Up in the Air (2009/I)
Penélope Cruz for Nine (2009)
Maggie Gyllenhaal for Crazy Heart (2009)
Anna Kendrick for Up in the Air (2009/I)
Just back after preparing Oats w/milk and strawberry juice for breakfast. Did I miss a large part after Mo’Nique?

The Avatar Art Direction Oscar.
The big ones – Best Picture and Best Actor – are still due.
Thanks. I guess Avatar has very tuff contestants like Hurt Locker, IB, Up in the Air, etc…difficult to make it big as Titanic.

We’ll know in a few minutes whether James Cameron or his ex-wife Kathryn Bigelow will take home the big honor of the night.
Or neither!
Hurt Locker which is creating waves in Oscars was made with the budget of 11 million dollars recouped just 19 million dollars…schmucks didnt do the marketing it deserved

The movie had some buzz here in the U.S. because of the unpopular Iraq war.
If they had not given the award to Mo’nique, I would have become rich in one song, buy ak-47 and kill all the people in oscar jury. She was the only right choice in the whole oscars.

1. You write: She was the only right choice in the whole oscars.
Christoph Waltz was also a good choice.
2. As someone pointed out in the comments to your above video link, the ‘SBI credit-card holder’ should have asked the customer service lady about VIP Underwear. 😉
