It’s a safe bet that of the numerous manias running amok in the English language all ye lascivious schmucks have only heard of Nymphomania. 😉
But there are lots of other ‘manias‘ out there.
Here’s a short list of some manias you probably won’t recognize:
* Bruxomania – Practice of grinding one’s teeth.
* Oniomania – Uncontrollable urge to buy things.
* Empleomania – Obsession to hold public office
* Trichotillomania – Insane desire to pluck one’s hair
* Arithmomania – Fixation with numbers
And now for our favorite mania:
* Peotillomania – Nervous disorder characterized by constant pulling on the penis.

According to Wiki, he’s disputed allegations of affairs.
Arithomania and Oniomania are the 2 more like to be used in every day conversations. Will make a conscious effort to use them in mine hereon. Thanks for the info.

We are expecting another major snow-storm in the North-East starting tomorrow afternoon. 🙁

A few hours back we went to the grocery store to pick up some Club Soda and the lines were really long as people were buying up food, salt (to sprinkle on snow/ice for fast/melting) and other stuff in preparation for the storm.
