For first time Indians living in India proved to be intelligent than desis abroad.
Inspite of biased reviews and publishitty stunts (Sena) My Name Is Khan is huge disappointment in India.
It did business of about 38.50 crore in 5 days (that’s just slightly better than duds like Veer and De Dana Dan and much behind 3 Idiots and Ghajini and SRK’s Rab ne Bana Di Jodi itself).
It is now official – audiences screwed Shahrukh and his mediocre movie with unrealistic assumptions.

God, we hope you are right.
That PLC (Pak-Lovin Chutia) and the banshee (Kajol) deserve to fail for the mediocre shit.
This is the latest report on Rediff.

You think it’s too late to get some Fatwa by some whacko Pak/Muslim leader that all Indians must see MNIK thrice. 😉
The reason the trashy film has done better in the main overseas market, i.e. U.S. is because Muslims have thronged in large numbers too see the movie because of its anti-American storyline.
This is true. In India, after Monday, film crashed badly. it is reported that many people leave the theatre in between. The film is having bleak chances of getting a simple hit status atleast in India.

Pak Loving Chutiya Khan’s MNIK Struggles in India
MNIK is not struggling but is getting bashed up by people in India (In second weekend it will create history by falling to such a large extent that no akshay-salman crap will surpass it).

From your lips to God’s (Allah’s) ears. 😉
This is some percepts from one site :
in Durg’s Tarun cinema one would be lucky to find 5 people in the stalls for the afternoon or even evening shows. The 600 capacity single screen is essentially screening My Name is Khan to empty halls and near zero percent occupancies. They may might as well be shutting it down and saving on the air conditioning and electricty costs at this point.
Nationwide the pattern is not a whole lot different though there may be fluctuation here and there. Things are a bit better in Mumbai but not nearly enough. Fact of the matter is though huge number of screenings are being held again for the Shahrukh Khan starrer, the collections are very underwhelming and occupancies very low. In large number of these theaters, flops like Jhoom Barabar Jhoom and Mere Baap Pahle Aap have recorded better 2nd fridays than the Shahrukh Khan starrer opened its weekend 2 at. And they were not 100 crore movies.

If true, Hooray.
The Pak Loving Chutiya deserves it.
