We’re still not sure whether this is a positive or a negative.

Halloween costumes retailer HalloweenMart has announced this season’s most popular costumes for adults and children.

And Bollywood figures in the Top Five Adult Halloween Costume Trends for 2009.

Scary thought, eh?

Explaining the decision, the Las Vegas based retailer said pop culture icons like Pussycat Dolls and Slumdog Millionaire put this year’s “Bollywood Beauty” costume on the A-list.

By the way, this weird Bollywood Halloween Costume goes for $60.

    i wouldn’t seeing some of my (both desi and non-desi) neighbors in that costume.

    In our neighborhood, desi kids roam freely…(in response to your reply to drunk Wasim-accusing 1/2 doctor in the swine flu post).

    Some years back when we used to live in an apartment complex, the desi kids used to visit only the desi apartments on Halloween. We’d see the desi parents standing at a distance, most likely acting as a GPS-device honing in on desi homes.

    “Bollywood Beauty Adult Costume” has extra emphasis on adult. I would expect to see that at a themed strip club in Vegas, not on trick-or-treaters.

    Anyone remembers the uproar Heidi Klum caused? Wearing a Kali outfit to a Halloween party…..JAI HIND man!! We are getting noticed…not sure for the right reasons though 😛
