Here in the U.S. and in India too, we’re told ad nauseum, ad infinitum that children are the future of the country.
A constant refrain is that if we want our nation to be great, we need to invest in our children and in our schools, hire good teachers and so on.
While the state of Indian public schools is not something to be proud of, the situation in Pakistan verges on the disastrous.
The New York Times has an interesting piece on how Madrasas in Pakistan are filling the void caused by poverty and state neglect of education. Here’s an excerpt from the NYT piece:
But if the state has forgotten the children here, the mullahs have not. With public education in shambles, Pakistan’s poorest families have turned to madrasas, or Islamic schools, that feed and house the children while pushing a more militant brand of Islam than was traditional here.
The concentration of madrasas here in southern Punjab has become an urgent concern in the face of Pakistan’s expanding insurgency. The schools offer almost no instruction beyond the memorizing of the Koran, creating a widening pool of young minds that are sympathetic to militancy.
In an analysis of the profiles of suicide bombers who have struck in Punjab, the Punjab police said more than two-thirds had attended madrasas.
We’re no Cassandra but be warned that if you think the situation in Pakistan is bad now, it’s going to get hellishly worse in the decades to come, as these madrasa-brainwashed kids, indoctrinated on hatred of the infidels grow up into Jihad-loving Taliban apprentices, footsoldiers and generals lusting for the 72 virgins in heaven after their murderous acts on earth.

This is very true. They say if you opt for Jihad, its always great profit for you, i.e. if you ‘win’ and come back alive after the jihad you will be given all wealth of the world by allah to enjoy your rest of the life.. if you die you will go to heaven and enjoy eternally, they do say about access to wealth and infinite number of women… what more a teenager would dream about… and all the more jihad is a action packed adventure game for them…
this is the attitute you see with the captured and tried terrorist kasab in mumbai courts… when the prosecution lawer explained the 26/11 incident as horrifying and shocking all he did was to laugh sarcasticaly at him…
The poor pakistani kids could turn worst nightmare to the world. India was yelling about this danger for decades… the americans were building them to counter the indo/russian rivals in the time of cold war and continued it even after the cold war… and now, when these pigs bite the very ass of their masters who fed them all along, they get angry.. and that to very very late… american security strategists are the most stupid species on earth, having the great arseanal and intelligence they time and again fail to crush these mices who costing them heavy (9/11)

good joke. atleast many hindus think that they’ll get Rambha if they indulge in acts of charity. I personally do not think that voting for BJP is an act of charity.

Regarding BJP, when we had less white hair on our head we used to think that education would make people more secular in their outlook. Unfortunately, that has not proven to be the case.
Humans are hardwired to hate each other. It’s in their DNA. Not even Brahma, Allah or Jesus can help the human race.

Islam has taken a smart intelligent short cut for converting the males … unlimited sex entertained by the religion… where as majority of the religions like Hinduism and christianity stick to chastity and one on one strict rules… Islam lured men with wooing them with lusty many women packages… If you convert you can marry as many as you can … but not applicable for a women .. she can be a wife for a only one man at a time.. but if he divorces or dies she also can find another one…

Like the Old day Popes/Kings, the modern day mullahs do brainwashing of the youth. They have even conveniently altered the teachings of the Holy Kuran to propagate their own ideas. Polygamy like Jihad is one such thing which has been truly misconstrued. When Prophet was at war with other tribesmen, there was lot of casualty and the widows of the slain soldiers were left helpless. To mitigate the situation he asked his fellow clansmen to marry those widow’s so that they can be taken care. This was a voluntary action and not forced (Either on the women or men). This was really a noble thought, but unfortunately like all noble thoughts this became the very instrument of misuse. Take a look at this video, how kids are getting transformed, what a nightmare.
