What’s wrong with Indian Dadas oops Dads?
Horrific reports have come out recently that a growing number of Indian dads are going about raping their young daughters in India.
But what is less known is that there are disturbing incidents of Indian dads in the U.S. shooting young children.
The first shooting incident happened in October 2008 in the Los Angeles suburb of Porter Ranch. Karthik Rajaram shot and killed his three young sons (ages: 19, 12 and 7), wife and mother-in-law before finally turning the gun on himself.
Two days back, there came gruesome reports of another Indian dad in the U.S. playing Rambo on children. This time it was in the Silicon Valley town of Santa Clara. The Indian dad killed three children (ages: 11, 4 and 11-months).
Media reports suggest that in both incidents, the shooter was a South Indian. Must be something in the Cauvery water the South Indians drink (and fight over ad infinitum).
We don’t know about you. The next time we see a South Indian dad in the U.S., we’re going to try and stay as far as possible from these dadas oops dads.

Write in English. This is not a Tamil blog. Use of the occasional Tamil phrase/word is fine provided you include the English translation.
I do remember SI sarcastically commenting on my question ‘what do you think about the indian techies killing and suicide’… and SI told ‘we dont have a pattern here like farmers in india committing suicide’… funny to recollect that.. truly a pattern emerging here…
I think they kill one in a family in a spur of emotion (angry in this case, or may be loss of job etc).. then realize that rest of your life in a place like ‘al catrez’ (along the american criminals tunnelling you AH for rest of your life) then decide to kill self… and thinks of the kids being orphans.. so killing them too and then commits suicide..
Regarding the south indian part… yes interesting thing to argue.. What I have felt is, many of the south indians are too sensitive and emotional compared to the northies.

If we image that one or few of the kids killed, could probably have turned out to be a Atul Gawande, Padmasree Warrior, Narendra Tallapragada or Shivani Sud in the future, we can feel what a great loss it is to the Indian society in US.
BTW, from your logic of “induction†shouldn’t your Headlines also scream “Indians shine in USAâ€, “Are Indians developing a new hobby – sending spacecrafts to Moon†etc, …
Come on, give us a break from dad headlines….

God, no. There are only laws against Gun Control. No kidding.
The Republicans and their buddies, the NRA (National Rifle Association) bring up all kinds of roadblocks (including the constitution) to prevent any kind of sensible gun control laws from being passed.
In Michigan, a six-year-old boy accidentally shot his classmate a few years back. Before that, there was the Columbine massacre in 1999.

It’s gonna get worse. Much worse because of the pauperization of the country. Parts of the U.S. are turning into Africa or backward regions of India. For instance, Detroit (for example) and parts of New Orleans are complete disasters.

4. We’re planning to buy a gun. But on second thoughts, we think South Indians in the U.S. will have a hard time buying a gun. Maybe, we’ll change our name to Debendu Bhattacharya. 😉

Your posts seem to reflect hate,anger and frustration…take a chill pill.
Then again, spewing your hatred on a blog (with the occasional light hearted post) could be quite threapeutic and may well be the reason why you havent shot those around you yet (or have you?!?!)…the next time you see an South Indian dad in the U.S., please help the poor guy by starting a blog for him as well. Hopefully with a tagline as misleading as yours!

this really has nothing to do with the topic but just for my own info…how do you get the “emotioncons” to work? also i remember when my dad was employed as a security officer at the local university,he told me about the time this one black guy beat the hell out of another dude with a RUBBER mallot because he couldnt find his gun….mabe we should buy stock in the rubber mallot companies if guns are outlawed!!
