Quote of the Day – Rahul Obama oops Gandhi

Hope and change are good words to use. But I think we have millions of Barack Obamas in India. It is the question of channelising (their energy), giving them voice and power. The reason I am opening them up (Youth Congress and the NSUI) is that I fully intend to give power to them.

Is it the “small change” (coins) he’s talking about???

In a way, SI, araj, gandhiji, and few others (including me) could be considered as “Obamas” aspiring to see a “change” in the making of movies and having some “Hope” that the present Indian actors (all) would do something about their acting.

    We are all Observing Obamas.

    Interesting point.

There’s no comparison between Rahul Gandhi (born with a silver spoon in his mouth but zero achievements to date) and the hard road Obama has had to travel all his life.

If there is a war between india and pakistan. Sonia gandhi, rahul and Priyanka gandhi will be the first to pack up and catch a flight to Italy.

Any idea how Nehru family got ‘Gandhi’ Tag?!!

Presumably when Nehru’s daughter Indira Priyadarshini married Feroze Gandhi.

It seems Feroze’s mother’s Parsi family name was Ghandy.

Although born as Feroze Khan, it appears that Feroze changed his name to Feroze Gandhi before marrying Indira.

Yes, I checked the Nehru family tree.
Hey it’s a bud plant with Oranges, apples guavas, and grapes all growing in a single tree.

What a history, I was shocked.
