The fate of the Eight Desi geniuses who made it to the finals of the Intel Science Talent Contest will be decided on March 11, 2008.

The eight desis are competing with 32 others for honor and $500,000 in prize money. The grand prize is $100,000.

The eight desi geniuses who made it to the finals of Intel Science Talent Contest are Avanthi Raghavan, Shravani Mikkilineni, Hamsa Sridhar, Ashok Chandran, Shivani Sud, Isha Jain, Ayon Sen and Vinay Venkatesh Ramasesh.

The finalists of the Intel Science Talent Contest will display their research projects from March 9-10, 2008  at The Great Hall of the National Academy of Sciences on Constitution Avenue in Washington D.C.

Intel Science Talent awards will be presented on March 11, 2008 at the Ronald Regan Building and International Trade Center on Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington D.C.
