I Hate Luv Storys is Boring Shit, Say Critics

I Hate Luv Storys Box Office – Mediocre Showing

(Kreacher: Posted via Windows Live Writer)

I Hate Luv Storys is a boring, cliched movie, according to a bunch of critics.

Featuring the two stars Sonam ‘Flop’ Kapoor and Imran ‘Flop’ Khan, the movie opened widely today in India (it opened in the U.S. on Wednesday).

Here’s what a sample of critics has to say on this piece of junk:

Reuters:

[Punit] Malhotra seems to take every single cliché you can think of and insert that into his film – while pretending that this is a different love story….Along the way, there are a lot of really inane dialogues….IHLS is ultimately a very ordinary and boring.

LiveMint:

To begin with, the story is wafer thin….Dialogues are shockingly bereft of wit, humour and realism….I couldn’t wait for it to end.

Times of India:

Thematically, I Hate Luv Storys, is extremely simplistic, uni-layered and terribly predictable.

Indian Express:

In the end, when Jay and Simran embrace, they give off a flavour of awkward sibling-ness, not a couple who would collapse if they were kept apart another living, breathing moment. And that’s the main problem of this predictable saga, by the newest director from Dharma Productions : the lead couple does not spark enough, making the peripheral characters scurry that much harder to keep it going.

Bollywood Trade News Network (cited in Wall Street Journal):

No prizes for guessing that the film is pretty much a collage of copious famous love stories of the 90s, which were appealing at that time but don’t have much worth now.

my opinion about indian movies is that
1)they are not having right script
    2)no story writing
3)at last no screenplay(except kaminey it had super screenplay)
4)some good(vikram in anniyan, darsheel in taare zameen par, hrithik in koi mil gaya, karthi in aayirathil oruvan),some bad (aishwarya rai in all movies maintains consistency of bad acting but not pathetic, vijay after pokiri) and some really pathetic (abhishek in almost all the movies, trisha, surya in recent movies, ultimate ajith)
But even if they cannot create these things they should at least create a extraordinary character like joker in the dark knight or tom hanks in forrest gump and create some scenes on those characters, then that makes the movie watchable, but please they should stop these nonsense promotional tactics.

From your above list, we’re getting Dark Knight tomorrow and plan to rewatch it.

Dark Knight director Christopher Nolan’s new film Inception is releasing in the near future.
