Salman Khan’s pathetic piece of shit God Tussi Great Ho has met with a deservedly pathetic box office response at the U.S. box office.
This dungheap of a stolen movie brought in a mere $121,432 at the U.S. box office in its opening weekend (August 15-17, 2008).
A shameless lift of the Jim Carrey starrer Bruce Almighty, God Tussi Great Ho is an ugly horror show even by Bollywood’s awful standards.
Distributed by Eros International in the U.S., God Tussi Great Ho came in at No-36 in the August 15-17 weekend compared to No-23 for Bachna Ae Haseeno.
Released in 69 theatres, God Tussi Great Ho had an embarrassingly low average per theatre of $1,759. What a shame for a movie featuring two of the biggest stars in Bollywood – Salman Khan and Amitabh Bachchan.
Here’s how God Tussi Great Ho fared at the U.S. box office when compared to other prominent movies in the opening weekend.
God Tussi Great Ho is a disgustingly bad movie.
As SearchIndia.com wrote in the review of this piece of garbage:
God Tussi Great Ho is the latest example of these two Bollywood stars involving themselves with stolen property.
Say what you will but God Tussi Great Ho is a pathetic copy of the Jim Carrey comedy Bruce Almighty (2003).
Bruce Almighty was a fairly decent comedy thanks to Jim Carrey’s superb performance.
The best that can be said of God Tussi Great Ho is that it reminded us of photos of advanced stages of syphilis we once saw in a book at one of the British Council libraries in India.
God Tussi Great Ho is that bad.
We think Salman Khan’s Bollywood career can’t get worse than this new low.
