Bhoothnath is a disaster at the U.S. box office.
This crap of a movie grossed a pitiful $330,246 in its opening weekend (May 9-11, 2008) in the U.S.
Eros Entertainment was the distributor for Bhoothnath in the U.S.
It’s no surprise that Bhoothnath was a damp squib at the box office here. As SearchIndia.com wrote last week:

Like the scarily mediocre Bhoothnath, for instance.
There were all of 11 people for the 6:30PM show on Friday at the Regal Cinemas in New Jersey. Yes, less than a dozen people for the 6:30PM show on opening night.
And you know what? In retrospect, all those who failed to turn up for Bhoothnath were infinitely smarter than the handful of people who did. They knew what us dumb folk did’nt – Bhoothnath is a movie to stay away from.

First of all i would like to request you that you don’t put Sachin is the same league with hahrukh and rajnikanth because sachin is not only 100 times more respectewd than them but is also million times more bigger and more popular than them.
When you said that sachin is a mere insect than you don’t know about sachin’s real power.That might be due to very less popularity of cricket in usa but i live in india and i know the real scenario.
It is difficult to explain about his popularity in mere words because that is beyond imagination but still i will try

There is a very popular saying about cricket and sachin in india which is also mentioned in the article that”CRICKET IS OUR RELIGION AND SACHIN IS OUR GOD” Sachin and cricket are two priceless gems to indians.
It is also mentioned in the article that he was offered the knighthood and i guess he is the youngest in the world to get that.
Once there was also an article in the newspaper that SACHIN is more POPULAR than DAVID BEKCHAM in ENGLAND which is very true and also do you know that daniel radcliff disguised himself to get an autograph from sachin whom he mentioned is his idol.Also sachin got a request from SWITZERLAND which is an entirely from cricket playing country to shoot an ad with roger federrer.
You put the popularity of ur tom cruise or brad pitt or angelina or any other damn person globally and compare it with that of sachin’s popularity than ur toms and brads and angelinas will hide in shame becoz apart from usa,abywhere in europe,in india,in australia,in south africa,in west indies and in the asia sachin is not only thousand times more popular but is also purely and truley more respected from the heart.
So next time whenever u comment anytime about sachin please hundred times.
